  • Q1. Are there any cancellation charges?
  • Ans:- We understand that plans do change. There are no charges for cancelling a trip upto 24hours in advance. You may cancel your reservation by logging and and cancelling your reservation directly. All bookings cancelled less than 24hours before a pickup shall be subject to a cancellation charge.
  • Q2:- Can I request my taxi to be waiting at a place (e.g airport or street intersection)
  • Ans:- We require the the pickup address be a business address or a well known address. For the security of the driver, we do not accept 'street intersections' as pickup addresses.
  • Q3:- Do Shimlacab provide A/C Cabs/Taxi?
  • Ans:- We provide only A/C cars. The A/C system is expected to be always working during the trip. The only exception is for trips to hilly areas where the A/C needs to be turned off for driving in hilly region to prevent overload on the car engine.
  • Q4:- Do you Provide Non-A.C Taxi?
  • Ans:- Yes, Shimlacab also provide Non A.C Taxi Service
  • Q5:-Do you provide self drive Taxi ?
  • Ans:- No, Shimlacab does not provide self -drive taxi. Shimlacab is India’s leader in chauffeur driven outstation taxi travel. Our drivers drives up to your doorstep with the vehicle and drives you around during your entire journey.
  • Q6:- How and when do I get the driver and Taxi details?
  • Ans:- Shimlacab normally send you Taxi and driver information at least 3 hours before a pickup
  • Q7:- How can I get confirmation about my booking?
  • Ans:- As soon as you create a booking with us , you will receiving the booking confirmation via email/SMS and call from our customer care .
  • Q8:- How can I edit my existing booking?
  • Ans: you can make changes to your booking directly call our custom-er care / +91- 96675-32373. You can change your pickup date, time, or provide special instructions.
  • Q9:-What Taxi categories do you provide?
  • Ans:- Shimlacab provide 4 types of cars:- Compact/mini - includes models like indica, i-10 grand, Indigo Sedan - includes models Dzire, TataZest, Hyundai-xcent, Etios Family SUV - includes models like Xylo,Tavera, Ertiga -vdi Family Lux SUV- Innovas Group – Tempo Traveller
  • Q10:- What if Driver asks me for extra payment?
  • Ans:- Normally the driver will not ask you for any payment beyond the amount that is listed in your booking confirmation .If the driver asks you for additional payment claiming extra kms driven or tolls or state tax, parking charges ,please always ask the driver to provide a duty slip with the details of payment being requested .If you feel that the charges being requested are not justified , you may call our customer care center +91-96675-32373 and ask them to resolve the situation . If you end up having to pay the driver but do not agree with the charges , please take a picture of the Duty-Slip detailing the payment and send it to our team at
  • Q11:- What if my Taxi shows up delay?
  • Ans:- Shimlacab is proud of on -time performance but sometimes delays do happen .If the nature of booking is time sensitive .. involving an airport pick/drop or meeting of your destinations , please budget for additional travel time (Usually 30 min for traffics delays for every 2 hr of estimated travel time) and also let us know of this as a special request when making your reservation. we will make additional efforts to ensure that we are vigilant and ensure and safe and punctual transit for you. If for any case , your taxi is delayed and you have to cancel reservation we will issue a full refund of any payment that you may have made in the form of advance towards the taxi reservation
  • Q12:- What if the Taxi breaks down during the journey?
  • Ans:- All Shimlacab are regularly inspected along over 60 min different points .However breakdowns cannot be anticipated and do happen . Shimlacab expediently arrange a backup cab to ensure that your travel plans continue uniterruptedand with the least possible delay.
  • Q13:- What is the earliest I should make a reservation with Shimlacab?
  • Ans:- You may reserve with Shimlacab at anytime , We are open 24*7 and our platform automatically gets work for arranging cabs -No human intervention required or you can call our customer care +91-96675-32373. As a best practice , make a reservation with us as quickly as you know of your plans .There is no charge to cancel a booking as long as you cancel more than 24 hr in advance .We normally accept reservations upto 3 months in advance , with most our customers sharing their plans with us atleast 1 months ahead.
  • Q14. How can i cancel my booking with Shimlacab?
  • Ans:- You may cancel your booking at anytime. Booking cancelled within 24 hr of pickup time will incur a cancellation fee that will be charged to your account .If you cancel your booking greater than 24 hr before your pickup time , the booking may be cancelled at no charge .
